Mō te tūnga | About the role

For Oranga Tamariki to meet the needs of children and families in New Zealand, our staff must be supported with an accurate and on-time HRIS and payroll service. The HRIS System Analyst is involved in application and system management, resolving system problems & issues, system configuration, business analysis and capacity building. The role is also responsible for facilitating change requests, coordinating software upgrades, preparing and reviewing release documentation, production issue resolution and reporting.

Based in the Wellington office, with the ability to work from home.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring

Key requirements of the role include:

  • Technical knowledge of SAP specifically for Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll
  • Experience in supporting development and understanding of automated HR systems, processes and databases.
  • Ability to identify areas where process improvement/system development would enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Experience at managing multiple and prioritising the demands of a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work through a problem and identify the cause with a view to establishing a solution
  • Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture
