HRIS Analyst (Dayforce)
In this permanent, full-time role, our public sector client is seeking a hands-on HRIS professional to support, maintain, and enhance their Dayforce platform. This role will focus on day-to-day system administration while also improving how HR processes are enabled through the system. You will act as a key resource across HR, Payroll, and IT to ensure the system is well-maintained, effectively used, and continuously improved.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Dayforce, including user setup, security, and workflow configuration
- Ensure data integrity through audits, issue resolution, and ongoing system monitoring
- Support reporting and analytics, including dashboards and ad hoc requests
- Act as the primary point of contact for HRIS support and system inquiries
- Configure and refine workflows and business rules
- Support integration and data flow across HR, payroll, and related functions
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through improved system use
- Support system updates, enhancements, and documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of HRIS experience, ideally with Dayforce
- Strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle
- Experience in configuring workflows and supporting system enhancements
- Advanced Excel and reporting capability
- Practical, solutions-oriented mindset with an interest in improving systems and processes
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
The position requires working on-site in downtown Toronto.
