The Role
We’re looking for a Vice President of Talent Acquisition to lead and scale a high-performing, data-driven talent acquisition function during a period of aggressive growth.
This role isn’t just about filling roles—it’s about building the engine that fuels our expansion. You’ll own recruiting strategy end-to-end, from workforce planning to employer brand, ensuring we attract and retain top-tier clinical and operational talent across all markets.
You’ll partner closely with executive leadership to align hiring with growth goals, while building a talent acquisition organization that is efficient, scalable, and candidate obsessed.
What You’ll Own
1. Talent Acquisition Strategy & Growth Execution
- Build and execute a scalable recruiting strategy to support rapid multi-state clinic expansion
- Translate growth targets (new clinics, capacity ramp) into hiring plans and timelines
- Ensure hiring keeps pace with needs
2. Clinical Talent Acquisition Excellence
- Develop best-in-class pipelines for BCBAs, RBTs, and Operators
- Create differentiated strategies for hard-to-fill markets
- Optimize sourcing channels (digital, referrals, partnerships, schools, events)
- Build strong relationships with universities and certification programs
3. Talent Acquisition Operations & Performance
- Establish and track KPIs:
- Time to fill
- Cost per hire
- Offer acceptance rate
- Quality of hire / retention
- Implement reporting dashboards and weekly performance cadences
- Continuously optimize funnel conversion rates (lead → interview → hire)
4. Employer Brand & Candidate Experience
- Build a compelling employer brand that resonates with clinicians and families
- Ensure a best-in-class candidate experience—fast, transparent, and human
- Partner with marketing to elevate Golden Steps as a top destination for clinicians
5. Team Leadership & Scale
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing recruiting team
- Create clear roles, accountability, and performance expectations
- Coach recruiters on pipeline management, closing strategies, and storytelling
- Foster a culture of urgency, ownership, and continuous improvement
6. Process, Systems & Innovation
- Implement scalable recruiting processes and tools (ATS, CRM, automation)
- Introduce innovative sourcing and outreach strategies
- Improve speed without sacrificing quality
- Bring structure to high-volume hiring environments
What You Bring
- 7+ years of recruiting/talent acquisition experience, including leadership of large-scale talent acquisition teams
- Experience in healthcare, multi-site services, or high-growth environments (ABA or behavioral health strongly preferred)
- Proven success hiring at scale across multiple geographies
- Strong understanding of recruiting metrics and funnel optimization
- Experience building recruiting infrastructure (processes, systems, teams)
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
