What you'll be doing
- Develop and evolve Envato’s global brand strategy, ensuring clarity of positioning, voice and visual identity.
- Translate brand strategy into clear frameworks, guidelines and campaigns that empower teams to deliver consistent and high-quality outputs.
- Champion a deep understanding of creative professionals, ensuring brand and social activity resonates authentically with Envato’s core audience.
- Partner with Marketing, Product and Tech teams to ensure integrated and cohesive brand storytelling.
- Guide the planning and delivery of brand and social campaigns, ensuring alignment to company objectives and measurable outcomes.
- Establish and track brand and social performance metrics, using insights to inform optimisation and future strategy.
- Lead, coach and develop a team, fostering high performance, collaboration and professional growth.
- Lead the strategic direction of organic social media across priority platforms, driving audience growth, engagement and brand advocacy.
- Oversee community strategy across channels such as Reddit and other relevant platforms, strengthening relationships with creative professionals.
- Stay informed on cultural, creative and technology trends to keep Envato’s brand relevant and future-focused.
About you
- Extensive experience in brand marketing within a dedicated brand team environment.
- Strong strategic capability, with proven experience aligning brand strategy to business objectives and translating vision into actionable, measurable plans.
- Proven ability to develop and evolve comprehensive brand strategy, including positioning, messaging frameworks, value propositions, and tone of voice at scale.
- Demonstrated success turning brand strategy into impactful, multi-channel go-to-market campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and commercial growth.
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Deep expertise in organic social media strategy and execution across major platforms, with a strong understanding of how social supports broader brand and growth objectives.
- Experience building, scaling, and engaging communities on platforms such as Reddit and other community-led channels.
- Deep understanding of creative professionals and the needs of creative communities.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align senior leaders across functions.
- Strong analytical capability, with experience using data and insights to inform brand and social strategy and optimise performance.
- Lived experience as a creative professional or hands-on creative background.
- Experience working within a technology or digital subscription business.
- Experience in global brand management.
- Familiarity with social analytics, community management and content planning tools.
