About OneInbox

  • We're putting voice at the heart of how enterprises actually run.
  • We're the production-grade voice AI platform built for Japan and Asia-Pacific.
  • We're handling millions of real calls every month — in Japanese, English, Hindi, and Arabic — for banks, real estate firms, and government services.
  • Try OneInbox today.

Why we're hiring this role

  • Our Tokyo customer base is growing faster than the founders can personally onboard and support it.
  • Every new enterprise customer needs a smooth first 30 days, and every deal needs crisp Japanese materials. Today that work sits with the founders.
  • We want someone who learns by doing the real thing: sitting in on deals, setting up accounts, and talking to customers from week one.

What you'll be doing

First 30 days

  • Join the founders' customer calls and demos, and capture requirements and feedback for the product team.
  • Learn the product by building your own OneInbox workspace and first voice agent.
  • Translate and localize decks, help articles and customer emails between Japanese and English.
  • Take over the CRM and customer notes so nothing falls through the cracks.

First 60 days

  • Onboard new customers with a founder alongside: set up the workspace, configure the first voice agents, and walk the team through the dashboard.
  • Prepare demo environments, Japanese proposals and follow-ups for enterprise prospects.

First 90 days

  • Own the first 30 days for a set of new customers, so they come to you first.
  • Leave behind an onboarding checklist and Japanese templates the next customer can start from.

Who you are

  • Native-level Japanese and conversational English: you can read, write and join a call in English.
  • Student, recent graduate or early-career, in any major and from any background.
  • Available for 3–6 months at roughly 10–20 hours a week, with flexibility across days.
  • Comfortable talking to customers, asking questions and following up without being chased.
  • Curious about AI and SaaS. You've tried a few AI products and have opinions about them.
  • Organized and self-directed: you keep your own task list and close loops.
  • Nice to have: part-time sales, customer-facing or startup experience, and familiarity with Slack, Notion, Google Workspace or a CRM.

Why OneInbox

  • The full picture: see how an enterprise AI company sells, onboards and ships, from the founders' seat.
  • Real responsibility: customers will know your name by week two.
  • Kind, high-bar team: senior operators who've built and led at scaled companies, and are easy to work with.
  • A path forward: strong interns are the first people we talk to when we open full-time roles in Tokyo.

What we offer

  • Hourly pay: ¥1,300 – 2,000 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Flexible hours: a part-time schedule that fits around university or other commitments.
  • Hybrid work: split between our Tokyo office and home.
  • Office days: commuter support and catered meals.
  • Mentorship: directly from the founders and the Tokyo business team.
