The Role

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR), ideally who has some some experience in the employee benefits or insurance brokerage industry, to help us expand our footprint with employers and channel partners.

This part-time role (10 hours/week) is ideal for someone seeking a flexible remote opportunity with meaningful work and the potential to transition into a full-time leadership role as we raise capital next year. You’ll work directly with the CEO to execute strategic outreach and follow-up campaigns that align with our marketing calendar and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CEO to create and execute personalized outreach strategies for employers and insurance brokers.
  • Manage a list of ~2,000 prospects, ensuring timely follow-up and engagement each month.
  • Align outreach with marketing campaigns and special offers to maximize engagement.
  • Research and tailor messages for HR decision-makers and benefit consultants.
  • Track all activities in CRM (Salesforce) for accurate reporting and follow-up.
  • Qualify leads and schedule introductory meetings for the CEO and leadership team.

Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years of experience in employee benefits, insurance brokerage, or related field sales.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage outreach efficiently.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and prospecting platforms.
  • Independent, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.
