We're hiring an Occupational Therapist with an exercise and movement focus — licensed in DC, MD, and VA. $70 per 45-minute virtual session. Bring your clinical eye; we bring the clients.

When our founder was diagnosed with cancer in her 30s, she discovered a gap no one in healthcare talks about openly: the clinical care was excellent, but everything happening around it — the nutrition questions, the financial panic, the mental toll, the sleep falling apart, the aging parents suddenly in crisis — was where people quietly struggled alone. The support resources she found were ugly, depressing, and hard to use. So she built the opposite.

OneVillage is a coaching and navigation marketplace that pairs members with exceptional human coaches across 25+ specialties — maternal health, cancer care, financial wellness, sleep, nutrition, mental health, caregiving, career, mobility, and more. We make the whole experience $0 out-of-pocket for most members by working directly with major insurance carriers (Aetna, CareFirst BCBS, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Anthem) and employer benefit plans. We also partner with organizations whose employees carry heavy emotional labor — refugee-services organizations, national funeral homes, nonprofits, Fortune 500s — to bring whole-human care to their teams.

• An OT who lights up when function and movement intersect — gait, balance, mobility, fall prevention, return-to-activity, ergonomics, strength for daily life.
• Fluent across the lifespan, or deeply strong in one stage (active adults, aging well, post-surgery, chronic condition management).
• Comfortable coaching via video — adapting demonstrations, using home-environment assessment creatively, sending between-session home programs.

• Deliver 1:1 virtual sessions (45 min) focused on functional movement, exercise, and daily-life performance
• Support members with mobility goals, post-surgical return-to-activity, fall prevention, ergonomic setup, and functional strength
• Design between-session home programs members can actually do — then coach adherence, not just assign it
• Partner with our Virtual Physical Therapist and other OneVillage coaches (nutrition, mental health, caregiving) on whole-person plans
• Document session notes in our secure coach portal
  

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) in good standing
• Licensure in Washington DC, Maryland, AND Virginia (or willingness to obtain the missing states — we'll support)
• 3+ years of OT experience, with meaningful focus on exercise, movement, or functional strength
• Comfort with virtual-first care delivery via HIPAA-compliant video
• Reliable internet and a quiet, professional home-office setup
  

• Advanced certifications (BCPR, CHT, LSVT BIG, SFMA, exercise-science credentials)
• Experience with older adults, fall-prevention programming, or chronic-condition management
• Experience collaborating in team-based coaching or integrated-care models
• Fluency in Spanish or another second language
