What we're looking for
TLDR; passionate content creator to help the CEO develop content around our data storytelling platform across various social media platforms (written and video)
OpenAxis is developing a community of data explorers and storytellers. By providing simple tools to easily share, visualize, and collaborate with data to tell stories, data-driven content creators are leveraging the platform to build their brand and audience.
OpenAxis: Mission
OpenAxis (Techstars ‘21) is a venture-backed startup simplifying and democratizing data storytelling. It is a platform where anyone can easily share and visualize data to tell stories.
We believe that by equipping people with transparent data and simple tools, communities will crowdsource insights and come to their own data-informed conclusions on topics that matter.
As we build a community of data explorers and storytellers, we will engender a culture of data literacy and transparency.
Responsibilities:
Develop content (charts, videos, posts) directly and indirectly related to data storytelling
Manage the company’s presence and brand across all social media platforms
Help with content marketing across social media channels
Work 10-20 hours/week
Requirements:
Experience in creating content on Twitter, Instagram, and Tiktok (LinkedIn, Substack, Snapchat a plus)
Interest in data storytelling and current events, as well as creating content (written and video) that educates users on various topics in a fun and engaging way
Responsive and quick turnaround
Enthusiasm and wit
Share any past examples of social media content you’ve created
