Tasks

Your Mission

You will play a key part in supporting our growth within the European Mortgage market.

Where you will be managing the full enterprise B2B sales cycle from prospecting, opening an account, identifying opportunities with qualified prospects and negotiating terms all the way to closing the deal. You'll become a subject matter expert on digital mortgages and be considered by prospects and clients as a trusted partner.

Moreover, you’ll actively engage with the Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to bring them closer to the market and ensure our product stays three steps ahead of the competition.

What you will do

  • Execute the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and achieving sales targets
  • Identify and work on new sales opportunities with prospects and turn them into long-term partnerships
  • Develop proposals for solutions that will fill client needs and maximize account value
  • Negotiate commercial terms
  • Providing feedback to the product and marketing teams
  • Becoming a subject matter expert on our product and competition
  • Helping us improve the way we develop the business as a company and always be looking to improve processes
  • Giving yourself 100% to achieve and exceed sales quota

Requirements

  • You have 2-3 years of experience in SaaS Enterprise Sales as an operator or founder. Alternatively, you can leapfrog the experience requirement by having a strong track record in first-principles execution and relationship building
  • Experience in/and familiarity with the Financial Service Industry
  • Excellent proificency in German, English and French or Dutch; any other language is a plus
  • Independence, throughput, and velocity from start to finish — we're looking for someone with a proven track record of success in full-stack sales, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals
  • Strong ability to build trust, connect with stakeholders on a personal level, and inspire them to embrace our vision
  • Grit, tenacity, and creativity — our sales execution often requires extreme persistence and out-of-the-box ideas, especially as we’re working with slow-moving ICP
  • Growth mindset — a mentality of approaching unknowns with excitement, with an ability to learn skills quickly to solve new operational challenges. We're looking for someone comfortable with the ambiguity of early startup sales organizations that can help define how we grow
  • Alignment on company values— You have a track record of being Audacious and Resilient, and you understand that lone wolves don’t survive in nature. If it helps you win a deal, you’d share it with a peer.

Benefits

We are a young and fast-growing company with a strong ambition to change an old and slow-changing industry.

To achieve this, we’re building a stellar team in which you will be challenged tremendously and where you can learn and grow.

You will work with a high level of autonomy. On top of having the freedom to creatively make an impact, you’ll be surrounded by an open team that is motivated to support you along the way.

We like to have a laugh, play games & do sports together. In the Oper international team, you’ll be exposed to a close-knit diverse set of minds, you will have a chance to learn new things and share your knowledge, and meet amazing people and cultures.

There is a lot of room for career path development and a lot of opportunities to travel.

Our hybrid remote setup with offices in Antwerp and Zürich provides us with the flexibility to come together when we want to while catering to every individual lifestyle by allowing remote work.

Our financial offer will be based on the market standards for early employees in a young (Fin)Tech Company (Michael Page / Glassdoor benchmarked) and will include extralegal benefits based on the legal framework of your location.
