Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Specialist to join our team. You will be working across sales and customer success to support the team in all aspects of business development. As part of the first five employees on the team, you will be working in the weeds and directly with founders to take our business to the next stage. The ideal candidate will excel at both proactive problem-solving and relationship building.


80% of your time will be dedicated to..

  • Onboarding customers and guiding them through the setup process
  • Proactively identifying and addressing customer needs to ensure satisfaction
  • Collaborating with our tech teams to provide valuable feedback for product improvement
  • Conducting prospecting and initial outreach to potential customers
  • Managing LinkedIn campaigns and other B2B marketing initiatives
  • Engaging in cold outreach and customer interactions to drive sales

20% of your time will be dedicated to..

  • Learning how to do the above tasks better. This involves meeting with mentors, attending workshops, and reading resources. While we will connect you with some of these resources, you will also need to proactively find them yourself.
  • Random startup tasks (for example: help collect data for weekly metrics, manage customer success triage, problem solving and troubleshooting activities etc.)


  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate and address issues proactively and autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills, and ability to build strong relationships
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Quick learner with the ability to ask insightful questions, and step outside their comfort zone
  • Resilient and able to handle rejection / hear “no” effectively
  • Ability to be customer facing and manage any concerns customers may have
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in tedious and meticulous tasks
