At Oriient we are building the world’s most advanced and scalable Indoor GPS technology. We are a VC-backed company, with paying customers and very rapid growth. We are looking for a part-time Shift Leader for a call center that remotely supervises our mappers in the field.

What the job entails:

Oriient’s Mapping Center provides remote support for Oriient’s field mappers, who are surveying sites, primarily in the US.

The supervisors in the Mapping Center will guide the mappers through Oriient’s mapping process on our app. The Shift Leader will be leading and overseeing Oriient’s daily mapping shifts while the mapping center supervisors are guiding and monitoring the mappers in the field. We are looking for a talented, responsible and serious individual who is ready to jump into our dynamic field operations team and keep our mappings running smoothly.

Work is in shifts (3-4 days a week) primarily during the afternoon/evening hours (the more flexibility, the better) at the company’s Tel Aviv office.

You will join our talented team, to help us activate the service in more and more buildings around the world, allowing people to navigate indoors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as shift leader of our mapping center - assisting and overseeing our current team of mapping supervisors during their daily shifts
  • Hands-on mapping supervision of our remote mappers in the field
  • Closing out and taking over the late hours of evening shifts
  • Reviewing and approving maps thoroughly, with close attention to detail
  • Reassigning shifts/mappers
  • Managing our outsourced mappers via communications with their direct supervisors
  • Troubleshooting and supporting the team through any kind of logistical or technical issues
  • End of shift reporting and updates, as per our internal protocol


  • Fluent English at a native-speaker level / very high proficiency
  • Availability to work nights (flexibility in hours is pivotal)
  • Experience in leading a team/shift management is a MUST - in a call center environment is a plus!
  • Patient (key to success) and prioritizing tasks during the shift
  • Sense of direction and orientation - ability to quickly understand locations on a map
  • High attention to details
  • Ability to quickly learn how to use computer programs and apps
  • Ability to adapt and react quickly and with a clear head in troubleshooting situations
  • Positive attitude towards people and good communication skills
  • Experience as a guide or instructor, with proven skills to help people complete a new task
  • Ability to multitask and lead several people simultaneously
  • An energetic leader capable of motivating a team
