We are looking for a skilled Android Tech Lead to join our team and spearhead the development of our Android SDK.

Role Overview:

As the Android Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of our Android SDK. You will work closely with product managers, backend developers, and other mobile engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be expected to write code, lead technical discussions, and mentor other developers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and evolution of Oriient's Android SDK.
• Design and implement new features using Kotlin, with a focus on Coroutines and Flow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Maintain a high standard of code quality, performance, and reliability.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing guidance and code reviews.
• Drive innovation and ensure the team follows industry best practices.
• Engage in continuous improvement, including refactoring existing code and introducing new technologies.
• Support NDK integration for high-performance features.
• Contribute to Jetpack Compose-based UI design and implementation where applicable.
• Ensure proper integration with various platforms and support services.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Android development.
• Proficient in Kotlin and familiar with modern Android development practices.
• Extensive experience with Coroutines and Flow for asynchronous programming.
• Solid understanding of Android architecture components and design patterns.
• Experience in SDK development is not a must but highly valued.
• Familiarity with NDK for working with native code is a plus.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose is an advantage.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality mobile applications or SDKs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
