About the Team
As a part of Professional Services, our team is made up of experts on Outreach, CRM, and leading sales technology bringing innovative solutions each and every day. As a vital part of our customer success ecosystem, the Managed Services consulting team ensures our customers utilize Outreach to the fullest potential while adhering to best practice throughout their post-implementation journey.
About the Role
Reporting to the Practice Manager, Managed Services, the Managed Services Consultant is responsible for guiding Outreach’s customers through best practices and hands on configuration with the goal of driving outcomes aligned to use cases and increased adoption of Outreach’s platform. This person strives for quality and excellence, collaborates effectively with Customer Success and Account Executives and is passionate about being a Trusted Advisor. This role brings together a unique mix of technology and business consulting, SaaS solutions design, project management and entrepreneurial spirit. You consider yourself a Sales Engagement leader with a knack for building rapport and influencing customer outcomes.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

  • Manage and optimize configuration of onboarded Outreach customers, to ensure their continued success with the Outreach platform
  • Identify platform gaps, and optimization opportunities; designing and configuring the appropriate solution, so that client expectations regarding platform use cases and functionality are fulfilled
  • Maintain platform relevancy according to changes in business needs
  • Ensure that all client admins are trained, educated, and up to date on platform use, best practices, and functionality
  • Provide oversight on any additional enablement or services packages needed to be in line with current and future client needs or business requirements
  • Ensure that every client derives the most value possible from the Outreach platform
  • Serve as the main point of contact with Outreach Admin during the Managed Services engagement
  • Assist the Sales and Success Teams in providing insight to client health, and working to win new business and/or grow existing accounts
  • Relentlessly drive to understand customers and their problems deeply – better than they know themselves!
  • Influence all levels of leadership ranging from analysts to C-Level executives
  • Develop a proficiency in the product capabilities, and sales process best practices
  • Contribute to defining and refining the initiatives, methodologies, assets, and programs within Professional Services

Our Vision of You

  • Professional Services Professional - You have 3-5 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role for a medium to large scale business, ideally in SaaS. A plus if you have experience also delivering managed services at a software company.
  • Technical Aptitude - You have a strong technical background with advanced computer skills
  • Consultant & Trusted Advisor - You have experience building trust and developing client relationships while being remote
  • Project Manager - You have the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and juggle multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Proactive & Self Driven - Proven self-starter and able to come up to speed on complex, difficult concepts with minimal assistance
  • Customer First Attitude - You are passionate about solving client challenges and are committed to client delight and are skilled in transforming customer vision into actual results within a product
The base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $130,000. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the your skills, qualifications, and experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
