The Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Applications Administrator to join our enterprise applications team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the administration, configuration, and optimization of our billing, cash application, and pricing catalogue stack. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that applications run efficiently, securely, and are aligned with business needs.
  • This role is focused on supporting our billing and revenue operations; helping our finance and go-to-market department navigate the pricing catalogue as well as the cash application process. You'll have the opportunity to go deep on our core billing stack, but willingness to understand and perform across various applications will be critical to success.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include:

  • Oversee the configuration, installation, and management of several enterprise applications, supporting various business partners.
  • Upgrade software to the latest specifications, maintain key workflows, and fix issues autonomously for applications you own.
  • Proactively recommend areas of opportunity that will lead to greater return on investment for purchased software.
  • Provide expert-level support and troubleshoot for complex application issues.
  • Resolve technical problems quickly, with minimal need for external support.
  • Help engineering teams to set up API integrations and document their connections.
  • Seek areas of automation with connected systems to reduce manual workflows.
  • Ensure applications and access keys adhere to company security policies.
  • Flag any concerns for compliance and liaise with the security team for system best practices.
  • Perform regular seat audits and deprovision users to prevent unnecessary access to applications.
  • Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all applications, configurations, and workflows.
  • Develop and deliver regular reports on application health, historical performance, and roadmap opportunities.
  • Effectively communicate at all stages of troubleshooting, resolution, and deployment with Business Partners surrounding submitted cases.
  • Work closely with partners and project teams to consult on the best use cases for systems and offer guidance were possible on development in the business requirements.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior team members and end-users.
  • Work with application vendors and partners during renewal to ensure a smooth contract cycle.
  • Help perform software evaluations for new business needs and recommend consolidation efforts were possible.
  • Constantly evaluate competitors in the space to ensure we have a best-in-class tool stack.

Our Vision of You:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Applications Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with billing platforms, pricing catalogues, and cash application, particularly Zuora Billing, Salesforce RCA and/or CPQ, and HighRadius; experience with SAP Billing and/or Zuora Revenue is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with the quote-to-cash process, including invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition.
  • Proven track record of supporting, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex software.
  • Strong knowledge of application workflows, identity management, and administrative UIs.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, authentication protocols, and integration processes.
  • Some basic understanding of scripting languages (SQL, JavaScript, HTML, Apex) are a bonus but not required.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Leadership and mentoring abilities to guide junior staff and promote best practices.

105000 - 135000 USD a year

The annual base salary range for this role is $105,000-135,000. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, location and experience. Final offers are determined through a holistic assessment and will vary within the posted range. Your Recruiter will share specific details based on your location and role during the hiring process.
