Senior Product Manager - Mission-Critical Systems
Oversight
Oversight enables mission planning, training, and real-time awareness for first responders, HLS, and military organizations.
We’re a young startup pushing the edge of mission-tech, moving fast, shipping often, and building technology that’s used in real operations.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager (Full-time, On-site) who can own complex, mission-critical products end to end, from concept and vision through execution and delivery.
This role is for someone who is comfortable operating in high-stakes environments, working closely with development teams, and turning ambiguous, real-world problems into clear, usable products.
What you’ll do- Own product areas from discovery to delivery, with full responsibility for outcomes
- Define product vision and translate it into clear, actionable plans for development teams
- Work hands-on with engineering to break complex problems into epics, user stories, and milestones
- Balance user needs, operational constraints, and technical considerations
- Make decisions under uncertainty and take ownership of tradeoffs
- Drive clarity, structure, and execution in fast-moving, real-world environments
- Proven ability to manage products and work closely with development teams
- Strong product thinking, creativity, and the ability to define clear vision and direction
- High sense of ownership, responsibility, and accountability
- Comfortable taking the lead and making decisions (even with incomplete information)
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Experience in mission-critical, operational, defense, public safety, or similar complex domains
- Experience with game engine frameworks and real-time 3D techniques
- Familiarity with GIS and geospatial workflows
- A true product owner, not just a requirements writer
- Someone with big-picture thinking who can also go deep into execution details
- A product leader who thrives in complex systems and real operational use cases
If you’re excited about building impactful products used in real operations, by real teams, under real pressure, we’d love to talk.
