We are looking for a mid-level Full Stack Developer to contribute to the development of scalable web applications, enhance system performance, and ensure a seamless user experience. This role bridges technical architecture, backend system performance, and user-centric feature development, making it ideal for a developer with a balanced technical and product focus.

About the role
Primary Responsibilities
Product-Focused Feature Development & User Experience
Develop user-friendly, scalable web applications using SvelteKit and TypeScript.
Implement responsive front-end features that align with the product roadmap and user needs.
Work closely with the Product Manager to refine features and iterate based on user feedback.
Ensure accessibility and usability best practices are followed in UI/UX implementation.
Backend Development & System Optimization
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
Optimize PostgreSQL databases with efficient queries and indexing strategies.
Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT and RBAC.
Technical Infrastructure & Performance Tuning
Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda).
Lead efforts in performance tuning and scalability improvements for growing user demand.
Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability.
Secondary Responsibilities
Code Quality & Team Collaboration
Participate in code reviews to maintain best practices and system security.
Establish and document coding standards for error handling, input validation, and security.
Work with junior developers, providing mentorship and guidance on technical best practices.
Security, Testing, and Deployment Automation
Ensure application security by implementing secure coding practices and penetration testing.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
Collaborate with the Ops team to ensure high availability and fault tolerance.

Requirements
Technical Skills:
English level: B2, we are an international team and all the meeting and communication are in English
Frontend: SvelteKit, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), TailwindCSS, Component-based architecture.
Backend: Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL (Kysely).
Cloud & DevOps: AWS (EC2, ECS, S3), Docker, Nix, GitHub Actions.
Testing & Security: Vitest, Playwirght, OWASP Secure Coding, CI/CD pipelines.
API Development: RESTful APIs, WebSockets.
Infrastructure & Deployment: Experience with multi-tenant architectures and AWS performance tuning.

Experience Required:
4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
Previous experience working with scalable and distributed applications.
Hands-on experience with performance optimization and system architecture.
Strong grasp of cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and monitoring solutions.

Contract
Working hours: full time
Contract term: fixed employment contract for 6 months, then a permanent contract.
We have set a Performance Review System that applies to 50% of the RAL as a bonus but there is no cap. It means that if a person over-performs 100% and/or the company does so, bonuses will be linked to the over-performance.
