We are a team of 30 people with an average age of 27 y.o.. We are looking for someone who wants to become an Operation Specialist in the startup world and experience a very dynamic environment.
WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP
We are looking for a mid-level Full Stack Developer to contribute to the development of scalable web applications, enhance system performance, and ensure a seamless user experience. This role bridges technical architecture, backend system performance, and user-centric feature development, making it ideal for a developer with a balanced technical and product focus.
PRIMARIES RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Technical Leadership & Architectural Ownership
- Design and own the architecture with a focus on scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Drive technical discussions and turn ambiguity into clear, documented decisions.
- Set and enforce technical standards across the team.
- Translate business needs into pragmatic engineering solutions.
2. Full-stack Engineering
- Build end-to-end features using SvelteKit, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Ensure clean, modular, and high-performance code.
- Optimize backend performance, database queries, caching, and AWS costs.
3. Team Velocity & Mentorship
- Coach, guide, and elevate 2–5 developers.
- Build predictable engineering processes: reviews, rituals, Observability, automation.
- Create a culture of technical excellence, responsibility, and continuous improvement.
4. Infrastructure & DevOps
- Own and optimize AWS infrastructure (AWS + SST).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable, zero-downtime releases.
- Ensure the platform is stable, resilient, and ready to scale globally.
5. AI Engineering
- Build AI-powered features and automation within the product.
- Integrate LLMs, ML tools, and advanced APIs.
- Experiment, propose and lead the adoption of new AI technologies.
REQUIREMENTS
Technical Skills (Core Competencies)
- 5+ years as a Full Stack Developer in product-driven environments.
- 1–2 years in a technical leadership role (Tech Lead, Senior IC, Team Lead).
- Strong command of fundamental software engineering principles, including: Architecting scalable, modular, high-performance systems Designing and implementing robust REST APIs Clean code, testing automation, and secure-by-default development Ability to evaluate, adopt, and master new frameworks/tools quickly
Tech Stack (Experience preferred, not mandatory)
These are the tools we currently use — you don’t need to know all of them, but you should be able to ramp up fast.
Frontend (current preferences):
- SvelteKit, TypeScript, TailwindCSS
Backend:
- Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL
- Query builders (Kysely or similar)
- Production-grade REST APIs
Cloud & DevOps:
- AWS (EC2, ECS, S3), Docker, Nix
- GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines
Testing & Security:
- Vitest, Playwright
- Familiarity with OWASP guidelines
Additional Technical Requirements
- Experience working with multi-tenant architectures and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with AI/ML tooling and LLM APIs.
- English B2+.
Soft Skills (Leadership & Execution)
- Natural leadership presence; ability to elevate people, standards, and processes.
- Clear, structured communication with product, design, and founders.
- A strong bias for simplicity, speed, and ownership.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making decisive calls.

CONTRACT
- Working hours: full time
- Contract term: Permanent contract
- We have designed a flexible compensation structure for our developers, giving you the choice between two options: Option A – Performance-Based Package Base salary aligned with role and seniority → 55.000€ Bonus up to 50% of your salary based on Company, Team, and Individual performance. There is no cap on bonuses — exceptional performance can lead to higher earnings, linked directly to over-performance. Quarterly evaluations determine the performance multiplier (based on Deliverables, Skills, and Culture). Option B – Fixed-Only Package Base salary 15-20% higher than Option A → 63.000€ No participation in the performance-based bonus system. Annual review: you can switch back to Option A during salary reviews if you wish.Note: The fixed salary in Option B is designed to offer more financial stability for those who prefer predictability, while Option A offers higher upside potential linked to performance.
