The Advanced Analytics and Insights Manager is responsible for leading data analysts and data scientists in deploying analytics projects to provide actionable insights to internal and external clients. He/She must adhere to the Data Office mandate which is to create value from data generated by the company through answering urgent and complex business questions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ideate, plan, execute, and evaluate analytics projects that provide concrete business value to both internal and external stakeholders (e.g., sari-sari stores, FMCGs)
- Create, enforce, and monitor analytics and insights strategies or roadmap of company
- Lead data analysts and data scientists in providing required summary statistics and utilizing advanced statistical tools in delivering key inferences and insights
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver ad hoc and regular reports
- Monitor and present company KPIs and insights to c-suite
- Be an advocate for data integrity and ethical business intelligence at all times
- Develop and implement statistical and predictive models and other analytic outputs
- Develop prototypes of models and test validity of results and insights
- Work with Data Engineers and Data Operations Team to ensure proper scaling of developed models
- Build and implement advanced analytical solutions to provide actionable insights
- Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and seek buy-in
- Leverage on data to drive and support decision making across internal and external clients
- Stay abreast of industry developments and latest modeling techniques and/or framework
- Enrich data strategy by discovering new sources of data and partnering with third parties to derive new insights
- Assist with designing campaigns and profiling projects. Support execution of aforementioned projects by leveraging analytics to maximize performance and optimize future campaigns
- Provide technical coaching and guidance to junior team members
- Education level: College graduate or postgraduate education
- Experience: 1-3 years in a data science or analytics role
