About the role

The Senior Full Stack Engineer plays a key role in shaping the architecture and technical direction of Pear Suite’s software platform. This role ensures that our systems are robust, scalable, and maintainable, translating business and user needs into well-engineered solutions. The Senior Engineer partners with product and operations teams to deliver functionality that supports both current growth and future innovation.

What you'll do

  • Design and architect scalable and reusable software
  • Document decisions and designs in a clear way
  • Develop software using software engineering best practice techniques
  • Thoroughly test individual pieces of code and the system as a whole
  • Build and manage the cloud computing environments
  • Strong experience and understanding of a Web Application development stack
  • Strong understanding of a general purpose software engineering language
  • Workable knowledge of git
  • Strong communication and prioritization skills

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of software engineering experience.
  • Deep expertise in full-stack development with technologies including React, GraphQL, and TypeScript.
  • Proven experience designing and maintaining cloud architectures (GCP).
  • Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on development with strategic design.
  • Strong grasp of software engineering principles, system design, and performance optimization.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex technical projects from idea to production.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI best practices and accessibility standards.
  • Commitment to quality, security, and compliance (including HIPAA guidelines).

What we offer
