People Clerk is a web platform that allows people without an attorney to file, serve, and prepare for their small claims dispute. We use technology to automate most of the process and provide a better alternative than the current alternatives of hiring an attorney at $350 per hour or spending 40-50 hours learning how to DIY. Small claims disputes are disputes under $10,000 and common types are fender benders (property damage), security deposits, contracts (you enter into multiple contracts per week), and disputes with contractors. The platform provides the following capabilities: - Step by step guide for the entire process. - File and serve the lawsuit - Evidence packet the user can take to the hearing.
