Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kochi for an Electronics Production Manager. The Electronics Production Manager will oversee production processes, ensure quality control, and maintain productivity standards in electronics manufacturing. Day-to-day tasks include managing production schedules, coordinating with supply chain teams, optimizing workflows, supervising production staff, and troubleshooting any technical issues that arise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands.
• Oversee electronics hardware production, PCB assembly, and testing processes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely availability of components and materials.
• Collaborate with QA to resolve electronics product quality issues.
• Optimize electronics manufacturing processes for improved quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.
• Drive automation/technology adoption for streamlined workflows in hardware production.
• Lead and motivate the production team to achieve output and quality targets.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to enhance team skills and technical expertise.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of electronic components.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry-specific regulations.
• Regularly report production performance, challenges, and insights to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (B.Tech).
• 2–3 years of experience in electronics/electrical manufacturing, PCB assembly, or IoT hardware production (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of electronics production processes, testing, and quality control standards.
• Familiarity with SMT (Surface Mount Technology), PCB assembly lines, and BOM management.
• Experience in lean manufacturing, process optimization, or Six Sigma/Kaizen will be an added advantage.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in industry-relevant software/tools for production management.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in electronics manufacturing.
