Who We Are Looking For:
Phoenix Tailings is seeking a Senior Chemical Engineer who is looking for a career where they can make a significant impact on the world. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of innovative chemical processes for critical metals production systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize and improve process technology, ensuring resource efficiency and environmental sustainability.
  • Create and update detailed chemical designs, equipment layouts, and technical drawings using cutting-edge 3D modeling software and CAD tools.
  • Conduct comprehensive technical reviews, identify and resolve issues, and prioritize safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in designs and systems.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, communicate progress and results effectively, and stay informed about industry trends and state-of-the-art technologies.
  • Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to source sustainable materials, components, and equipment for chemical processes.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers on the team, fostering an environment of learning, growth, and empowerment.
  • As a Senior Chemical Engineer at Phoenix Tailings, you will be at the forefront of driving the design and development of sustainable and advanced chemical processes for critical metals production. Your expertise and dedication will play a vital role in ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions that positively impact both the environment and society.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in chemical process design and engineering.
  • Proven experience in designing complex chemical systems, with a particular focus on liquid-to-liquid separations.
  • Proficiency in using 3D modeling software and CAD tools for advanced design and layout.
  • Strong project management skills, ensuring successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, empowering effective teamwork and knowledge sharing
