We are seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead the design and development of innovative critical metals production systems and scale up existing processes to support our growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the process engineering team in the design, development, and optimization of cutting-edge rare earth metal smelting systems.
  • Deliver engineering solutions to enhance existing processes, focusing on improving production efficiency, throughput, and overall system integration.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of smelting processes with other operational systems, aiming for holistic efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Spearhead the scaling-up of existing processes to meet ambitious production goals, thereby supporting the rapid growth and evolution of the company.
  • Conduct rigorous testing, data analysis, and process evaluations to recommend improvements or modifications to the smelting systems, always aligning with the highest industry standards.
  • Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of smelting systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and professional development guidance to a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and learning-driven work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in process engineering within the metal smelting or similar sectors. Experience with rare earth metals is a plus.
  • Proven expertise in designing, optimizing, and scaling up production processes in a high-temperature, complex processing environment.
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams of engineers, promoting a culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
