- Lead the development and implementation of our long-term strategy for rare earth separation technology, aligning it with corporate sustainability goals and market trends.
- Manage and direct a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Oversee the entire rare earth separation process, ensuring efficient and safe operation, high product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Identify and champion the development and implementation of new and advanced solvent extraction technologies and process improvements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across R&D, operations, and business development to ensure seamless integration and success.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in REE separation and processing, attending conferences and collaborating with industry experts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, government agencies, and academic institutions.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences, sharing expertise and building thought leadership.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring efficient allocation and alignment with strategic goals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering, Extractive Metallurgy, or a related field.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in rare earth separation technologies, with at least 5-7 years in leadership roles.
- Experience in scaling up industrial processes, demonstrating the ability to translate lab-scale successes to commercially viable operations.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and scaling up industrial separation processes, particularly solvent extraction.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Deep understanding of safety standards and environmental regulations related to chemical processing.
- Passion for innovation and a commitment to sustainable practices.
- Strong understanding of the global REE market and its trends.
