Lead the charge in revolutionizing rare earth extraction with your unmatched expertise and vision!
We are seeking a visionary and accomplished Director of Rare Earth Separation Engineering to advance our entire rare earth extraction program. You will participate in the shaping the future of our technology, driving innovation, and ensuring we remain at the forefront of sustainable and efficient rare earth element recovery. This is a pivotal leadership role for someone with exceptional technical mastery, strategic acumen, and a passion for shaping the future of clean energy and advanced technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our long-term strategy for rare earth separation technology, aligning it with corporate sustainability goals and market trends.
  • Manage and direct a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Oversee the entire rare earth separation process, ensuring efficient and safe operation, high product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify and champion the development and implementation of new and advanced solvent extraction technologies and process improvements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across R&D, operations, and business development to ensure seamless integration and success.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in REE separation and processing, attending conferences and collaborating with industry experts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, government agencies, and academic institutions.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences, sharing expertise and building thought leadership.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring efficient allocation and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering, Extractive Metallurgy, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in rare earth separation technologies, with at least 5-7 years in leadership roles.
  • Experience in scaling up industrial processes, demonstrating the ability to translate lab-scale successes to commercially viable operations.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and scaling up industrial separation processes, particularly solvent extraction.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
  • Deep understanding of safety standards and environmental regulations related to chemical processing.
  • Passion for innovation and a commitment to sustainable practices.
  • Strong understanding of the global REE market and its trends.
