Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an analytical and results-oriented Vice President of Finance to join our dynamic team, driving financial strategy and propelling our growth trajectory. You will play a pivotal role in securing capital, optimizing financial performance, and navigating the complexities of a rapidly evolving clean tech landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies: work with the executive team on the development of long-term financial plans, budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation strategies, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives and driving sustainable growth.
- Lead negotiations on complex capital structures: Drive negotiations on key terms and structures of financings including: project financing, mezzanine debt, and equity capital
- Oversee financial operations: Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, managing financial reporting, internal controls, risk management, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in senior financial management roles, with a strong understanding of financial modeling, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Experience with a startup environment is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in building high-performing finance teams and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
