7.1. Shift Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a shift team to ensure consistent, high-quality metal production
- Oversee day-to-day operations of high-temperature and chemical processing equipment
- Drive safe practices and enforce compliance with all SOPs and safety protocols
- Monitor production metrics and take immediate action to correct deviations
- Conduct start-of-shift and end-of-shift meetings to align team performance and priorities
- Train and support Operators in technical procedures and process understanding
- Ensure accurate documentation of production data, incidents, and shift reports
- Troubleshoot process and equipment issues, escalating when necessary
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to implement improvements and reduce downtime
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or lead role within manufacturing, metal, or chemical production environments
- Deep understanding of high-temperature processing, furnaces, or chemical handling preferred
- Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced, 24/7 operations
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and accountability
- Experience with shift scheduling and team coordination
- Working knowledge of production metrics, downtime tracking, and root cause analysis
- Mechanical or technical aptitude; familiarity with industrial controls is a plus
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, nights, and weekends as needed
