9.3. Vice President of Project Management

Key Responsibilities:
- Own and lead the company-wide project management function, building the systems, discipline, and culture required to execute high-impact capital and technical projects at scale
- Drive end-to-end execution of major capital projects, including facility expansion, process scale-up, and new plant development
- Establish rigorous project governance frameworks, cost controls, scheduling systems, and risk mitigation processes to ensure predictable delivery
- Oversee capital budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to align project execution with company growth milestones
- Develop standardized project management methodologies tailored to scaling breakthrough industrial technology
- Build and lead a high-performing project management organization capable of supporting rapid expansion
- Ensure operational readiness by aligning engineering, construction, commissioning, and production ramp-up plans
- Identify execution bottlenecks and implement structural improvements to accelerate deployment timelines
- Partner with executive leadership to translate strategic growth objectives into executable, milestone-driven project plans
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience leading large-scale capital or industrial projects, with significant experience in manufacturing, heavy industry, energy, or chemical processing
- Proven track record delivering complex infrastructure or plant build projects from concept through commissioning
- Deep experience in capital planning, cost controls, scheduling (e.g., Primavera, MS Project), and risk management frameworks
- Experience building and scaling project management organizations in high-growth environments
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million or billion-dollar capital budgets
- Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels in a fast-moving startup environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field (advanced degree preferred)
