Position Overview
We have an immediate opening for a Engineer / Drafter to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist The Engineering Manager With
- 2D and 3D drafting, including creating models and detailed drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
- Interpreting and working from blueprints and technical drawings
- Preparing and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Revising drawings and BOMs as needed
- Supporting quality assurance processes and updating designs prior to final release
- Maintaining strong communication and collaboration within the team
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- High School Diploma required; Mechanical Engineering degree preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility with workload demands
- Ability to read and interpret codes and government documents
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Minimum of 3 years drafting experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- College graduates are encouraged to apply
- Elevator industry experience is a plus
- Strong computer skills, including in-house and Microsoft programs
- High proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor (Inventor expertise is highly valued)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
- Quick learner with a proactive mindset
