What You'll Do
Responsibilities
As a Wood Shop Assembler, you'll help manufacture high-quality elevator components while working with a variety of woodworking equipment and production tools. Responsibilities include:
- Assemble wood components for elevator products according to specifications and drawings.
- Operate woodworking machinery including table saws, routers, CNC routers, and hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and assembly instructions.
- Perform accurate measuring, cutting, drilling, fitting, and assembly of materials.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Complete production paperwork and documentation accurately.
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a wood shop, cabinetry, or elevator manufacturing environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and assembly experience.
- Experience operating woodworking equipment such as:
- Table saws
- Routers
- CNC routers
- Hand and power tools
- Ability to read measurements and use common shop tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Dependable work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to accept coaching, follow instructions, and maintain a positive attitude.
Skills

Physical Requirements
This Position Requires Employees To
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and lift materials.
- Use hands for fine motor tasks and operate hand and power tools.
- Lift up to 100 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
- Have sufficient vision, hearing, depth perception, and color recognition to safely perform job duties.
This position is based in a manufacturing facility where employees can expect:
