We are seeking an exceptional FPGA Design Engineer with 4-6 years of experience to drive the development of advanced hardware solutions for space exploration.


Key Responsibilities:

Harness your exemplary RTL coding skills (Verilog, VHDL, System Verilog) to architect and implement robust FPGA designs tailored for space applications.
Demonstrate a profound understanding of High-Speed Serial Protocols, Memory Interfaces, High Speed Data Converter Interfaces, Signal Processing and their integration into Space-Grade Systems, ensuring reliability in challenging environments.
You will develop RTL code to implement FPGA-based digital designs of subsystems for SAR Payloads such as Payload Controller, Data Acquisition and Compression System. Project include designing logic for High-Speed Data Converter interfaces, digital signal processing and control logic (bus interfaces and state machines)
Leverage expertise in Microchip tools such as Libero SoC and SmartTime to optimize design processes specifically for space applications.
You will perform FPGA debugging and HW/SW integration.
You will write test bench for verifying design.
You will debug code using ChipScope and other debugging techniques.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality work efficiently, meeting project milestones without compromising on the highest standards of quality and precision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical engineering, Electronics or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of proven experience in RTL coding languages (Verilog, VHDL, System Verilog), with a portfolio demonstrating successful FPGA designs.
  • Experience in interfaces like JESD, UART, Aurora, DRAM, SRAM etc.
  • In-depth understanding of clock management techniques, including clock dividers, PLLs, and their application in space-grade designs.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel under pressure, delivering high-quality work efficiently within project timelines.
  • Familiarity with Microchip tools (Libero SoC, SmartTime) is highly advantageous, showcasing proficiency in tailored design for space-grade hardware.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Education

UG: B.Tech / B.E Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation

PG: M.Tech / MS in VLSI/ Electronics/ Electrical or any related subject.
