PierSight is a SAR company with a deliberately different philosophy: We build Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) systems tailored to a single application rather than stretching one system across every use case. SAR’s core advantage is that it sees through cloud, darkness, and weather — surveillance that works day or night, all year round. But most providers try to serve every market with one general-purpose system. We don't. By building application-specific SAR, we deliver superior data at a fraction of the cost. We have two products in the market today and two in development. Varuna is a SAR+AIS satellite constellation for persistent maritime surveillance, serving maritime agencies and naval operators. Vidura is a drone-mounted SAR payload for foliage-penetrating surveillance, serving on-ground defense operators. Internally, we're building Sanjay, the SAR satellites from our SAR stack for India’s first Earth Observation constellation in a Public Private Partnership (PPP) model, and MATSYA, our maritime analytics and tracking platform.
