Overview:

We are looking for a technical project manager to help oversee the detailed design and construction of underground infrastructure projects to enable autonomous deliveries. This role will require extensive travel (50%-65%) to job sites to manage subcontractors, act as the company’s representative to the local government and stakeholders, and to conduct surveying and measurements in order to validate installation to project specifications. This role will report directly to the COO, but will closely support the the engineering team focused on underground infrastructure design. This role will have the opportunity to evolve into a department head as the project implementation team grows. Daily work will include preparing & reviewing technical designs, implementing relevant design standards, filing utility construction permits, managing subcontractors & vendors, and participating in system validation testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters in Civil Engineering
• PE (Professional Engineer)
• Experience in underground utilities design and installation
• Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders and subcontractors

Nice to haves:

• Experience designing storm water infrastructure
• Experience with concrete and cement structure design
• Knowledge of utility permitting process
