Work Experience:
6+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, with at least 3 years focused on technical hiring for engineering or hardware-centric roles. Proven track record in leadership hiring, international recruitment, and building talent pipelines for deep-tech industries.
Prior experience hiring for space technology, defence , aerospace, or remote sensing domains is highly preferred.
Role Description:
At Pixxel, we’re on a mission to build a health monitor for the planet through a constellation of hyperspectral imaging satellites. Our growth depends on finding the right people to help shape and deliver this ambitious vision.
We’re seeking a Mid Senior Technical Recruiter with a strong engineering background and preferably a deep understanding of the space, aerospace, or remote sensing landscape. This role involves full ownership of the recruitment lifecycle—from strategy to execution—for mid to leadership-level technical roles. The ideal candidate brings an analytical mindset, strategic sourcing abilities, and the confidence to partner with senior candidates and stakeholders across the company.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of technical roles, including hardware, software, systems, and mission-critical positions.
Partner with hiring managers and leadership to define role requirements, align hiring strategy, and forecast workforce planning.
Drive sourcing efforts for both domestic and international talent across engineering and deep-tech domains.
Lead hiring mandates, ensuring alignment with company vision and cultural values.
Develop and maintain talent pipelines for niche and hard-to-fill roles, especially within space, defence, and remote sensing sectors.
Conduct detailed technical and behavioural screening interviews, ensuring candidate and role alignment.
Use recruitment tools and analytics to track performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and continuously improve hiring processes.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders on defining outreach initiatives, along with planning and executing industry engagement initiatives.
Ensure excellent candidate engagement and experience at every stage of the hiring journey.
Desirable Skills & Certifications:
An educational background in engineering is preferred to enable deeper alignment with technical roles
Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools like LinkedIn
Demonstrated ability in hiring across multiple geographies and time zones
Experience in stakeholder management, especially with senior technical and leadership teams
