About The Role

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in Unqork development. This role will report to the CTO and is available to work remotely or from our Minneapolis Office. Players Health is a distributed workforce that offers a flexible, remote and/or hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate will possess an extensive knowledge of Unqork and Front end -based web-app development. You are passionate about solving complex issues and unafraid to take risks. You will exhibit a professional maturity and strong sense of resilience and ownership of your work. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our Product team to build innovative insurance solutions to our customers.

Role comes with a salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $90,000 to $150,000.

Responsibilities (are Inclusive Of But Not Limited To)

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements.
  • Design new Front End application development and customize current applications in the platform.
  • Participate in writing requirements, design, and implementation.
  • Participate in the development of new screens and UI/UX.
  • Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interfaces and other micro services.
  • Proven experience in detailing APIs using an API documentation framework (Swagger).
  • Investigate and resolve production issues to maintain a stable production environment
  • Work as a part of a small team that includes developers, designers, QA experts, and managers.

  • Identify areas for continuous improvement of processes to increase operational excellence
  • Demonstrate responsiveness and urgency to internal customers, within and across departments.
  • Drive continuous improvement with the development of new standards, best practices, and process improvements
  • Work with third-party dependencies and APIs
  • Coordinate with the cross-functional teams to build apps in stipulated time/budget.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Unqork certified configurer, preferred Expert Configurator status.
  • Recent hands-on experience with Low Code platforms, especially in Unqork.
  • 4+ years of prior experience performing web application assessments.
  • 4+ years of prior experience with threat modeling, security design reviews, and cloud and microservice architectures.
  • Experience with building and launching digital software applications using Unqork.
  • Experience working directly with clients to understand their needs, create solutions, and drive of implementation of software solutions and products.
  • Ability to develop solutions for client problems through application of personal experience and standard methods and tools.
  • Guide configurators in their work on projects.
  • Experience working with Microservices architectures.
  • Experience with SOAP and Restful APIs.
  • Experience with programming languages and databases including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON.
  • 2+ years of IT application system experience in technology solution delivery.
  • 1+ years of experience with Unqork platform customization and delivery.
  • 2+ years of experience working and developing with JavaScript and/or Node.JS.
  • 2+ years of experience working Angular or React.
  • Demonstrated experience with Application Servers and Web Servers.
  • Knowledge of unit testing and code debugging.
  • Experience working with REST APIs, document request models, offline storage, and third-party libraries.
  • Growth mindset with the desire to continually learn about emerging technologies/industry trends.
  • Knowledge of software architecture.
  • Previous experience with project management.
  • A hands-on, engaged approach to solving problems.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in collaborative environments.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate strategy and solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and explain technical solutions to non-technical individuals.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/education in Software Engineering, Computer Science.
  • A collaborative approach to build apps and solve complex problems.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Client-focused approach with a goal of creating microservices and API development.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to write clean, well-documented code that follows good coding practices.
  • Understanding and experience on developing usecases on the Unqork platform.

Desired Characteristics

  • Prior experience and knowledge of Git and GitHub
  • 7+ years of working on consumer-facing applications experience.
  • Knowledge of technical requirements for a human centric or customer centric digital experience, desired.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce development, implementation and maintenance.
  • Prior experience with Veruna and Socotra platofrms.

  • Ability to travel occasionally for team events, collaboration, engagement, conferences, or customer visits

  • Willingness and ability to attend virtual meetings with camera on – we respect that there are times when employees may need to turn their camera off.
