We are currently searching for an experienced QA Analyst to join our Technology team. This role is integral to developing and implementing a successful QA practice for our software applications.
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, hardworking individual with 4+ years' experience in QA testing preferably coming from the insurance/sports domain. We will consider candidates in states where we currently have an employee presence. Other states may be considered, depending on the role and experience. Compensation is competitive and will reflect the candidate’s experience and ability to contribute to our ambitious growth and mission. This role comes with a salary commensurate with skills and experience, ranging between $65,000 - $80,000.

Responsibilities (are Inclusive Of But Not Limited To)
- Work with Engineering and Product Managers to understand software specifications
- Ability to design, write, and execute complex software testing procedures
- Building, coding, and implementing software evaluation test programs
- Running test programs to ensure that testing protocols evaluate the software correctly
- Completing final tests and creating post-test reports
- Designing manual and automated test procedures to evaluate each software product.
- Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to continuously improve quality assurance processes and ensure that testing processes meet user expectations and align with product requirements.
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring all user requirements are met and the system performs as expected in real-world scenarios.
- Maintain clear and concise test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and test reports, ensuring thorough traceability.
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience as a software Test/QA Engineer.
- In-depth understanding of Java, JavaScript, Selenium and automation frameworks.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and automation frameworks (e.g, Selenium, JUnit)
- Utilize and manage various testing tools, including Postman, Jmeter, test automation using Selenium, Postman or Playwright and others to support comprehensive testing efforts
- Familiarity with DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines for test automation and deployment experience setting up test automation jobs in Jenkins.
- Understanding of QA methodologies and the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proficiency in both manual testing and automation tools (e.g., Selenium or similar).
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL for querying databases and validating data.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- The ideal candidate would be someone who has experience working for a Sports organization and working on analytics related to athlete safety, injuries, production while also having experience in risk management.
- Have a strong understanding of QA methodologies, efficient testing strategies, and modern best practices
- Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to influence without direct authority.
- Ability to build rapport cross-departmentally.
- Experience with UnQork and Low code/No Code platforms would be a plus.
- Must have a dedicated safe and secure remote work environment
- Must have the ability to work and be productive in a remote work environment
- Exceptionally self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
- Proactive communicator in all communication methods, including email (Outlook) and instant messaging (Slack & Teams)
