About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Email Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on experience in building and executing email marketing strategies, with a strong focus on customer engagement and retention. The Email Marketing Manager will work closely with our marketing, sales, and customer success teams to manage email campaigns, customer journeys, and automation efforts that drive business growth. The Email Marketing Manager role has a compensation range of $60,000 - $85,000, based on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns, including promotional emails, customer nurture campaigns, and automated workflows.
  • Customer Journeys: Design and manage customer journey mapping, creating personalized, data-driven experiences to improve engagement and conversion rates.
  • List Management: Maintain, segment, and optimize email lists to ensure accurate targeting and segmentation.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Analyze campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) to optimize future email campaigns and strategies.
  • A/B Testing: Lead A/B testing for email subject lines, copy, creative, and CTAs to continually improve campaign performance.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with design, content, and sales teams to ensure messaging is aligned with overall marketing goals.
  • Compliance: Ensure all email campaigns are compliant with privacy laws and regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.).
  • Technologist and Marketer: Combine technical expertise with marketing acumen to optimize email marketing platforms, automate workflows, and ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
  • Customer Segmentation: Build and execute advanced customer segmentation strategies to deliver personalized and targeted email campaigns, improving engagement and conversion rates
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, sales and marketing teams to ensure the successful implementation of Applied Epic and other marketing technologies.
  • Communication Cadence: Build and manage a communication cadence and email strategy that supports client engagement and retention


Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in email marketing or digital marketing roles.
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Strong experience in segmentation, list management, and customer journey development.
  • Solid understanding of A/B testing, email analytics, and campaign optimization.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools.
  • Basic understanding of copywriting and email design, with the ability to craft engaging content and design visually appealing, responsive emails.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and leverage insights to improve campaign performance.
  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices, privacy laws, and industry trends.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with HTML/CSS for email template customization.
  • Experience working in a small, collaborative environment that requires multiple hats

  • Exceptionally self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
  • Proactive communicator in all communication methods, including email (Outlook), verbal (in-person & phone), instant messaging (Slack & Teams)
  • Willingness and ability to attend virtual meetings with a camera on – we respect that there are times when employees may need to turn their camera off. By regularly using cameras, we form connections and get to know each other, as well as promoting positive and respectful interactions amongst colleagues.
  • Must be 18 or older
