We’re looking for a Hardware Product Manager with a focus on deployment and installation to lead the global roll-out of our next-generation hardware products. This is a hands-on, field-informed role where you’ll take ownership of new product readiness—from testing and release planning to real-world deployment and installation.
You’ll be at the intersection of product, engineering, logistics, and customer-facing teams, helping ensure that new hardware is tested, assessed, and deployed effectively. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on bringing structure to complexity, enjoys field work, and wants to help shape how products move from prototype to full-scale production.

We are a truly innovative company that is disrupting the sports technology market by listening to our clients and using our deep engineering expertise to build the tools they need to succeed. What You’ll Be Doing
Product Deployment Ownership
- Lead hardware deployment and installation efforts for new product releases globally.
- Act as the on-the-ground technical lead for installations, especially in the US and priority launch markets.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define product limitations, test real-world performance, and ensure field-readiness.
Process Design & Documentation
- Build and iterate deployment frameworks that scale with each new product.
- Partner with the Testing & Logistics Manager to define QC standards, installation protocols, and internal documentation.
- Use insights from deployments to inform future product design and release planning.
Testing & Feedback Integration
- Lead product testing to validate performance across regions and identify potential limitations.
- Work with Account Management to run alpha and beta pilots with customers, gather structured feedback, and report findings to product and engineering teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate across multiple teams to align product delivery with commercial and customer expectations.
- Coordinate with Sales to manage rollout timelines for new, upgraded, and strategic customers.
- Manage kit builds, stock availability, and inventory planning across deployment regions.
Training, Support & Issue Resolution
- Partner with Support to create and maintain training guides and troubleshooting documentation.
- Run training sessions to teach internal teams and external partners on product installation and setup.
- Own the feedback loop on field issues and work with relevant teams to implement fixes or process changes.
The Ideal Candidate
You’re a self-starter who enjoys working hands-on with hardware while also building structure and scalable processes. You combine strong technical skills with clear communication and are comfortable working across teams, in the field, and under time pressure. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by the opportunity to shape how we bring new products to market.
Workplace & Diversity
At PlayerData, we’re an equal opportunities employer and we believe in no judgement when it comes to anything that makes you who you are - gender, race, sexuality or religion. If you need any additional support for the interview, just let us know so we can make arrangements for you.
