Position Overview
As a Senior Construction Engineer, you will take a leadership role in overseeing and providing construction and operational support to ensure the smooth execution of large projects. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in construction management and operations support.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Construction Management: Lead construction projects from inception to completion. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects meet design specifications, quality standards, and are completed within budget and schedule.

Operations Support: Provide strategic support for the day-to-day operations of facilities. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing activities.

Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with construction contractors, suppliers, and service providers. Negotiate contracts, ensure compliance with terms, and evaluate performance.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of local, state, and federal regulations related to construction and facility operations. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies for construction projects and facility operations. Implement measures to safeguard personnel and assets.

Project Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including plans, permits, and reports. Ensure documentation is organized and accessible for future reference.

Team Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to a team of construction and operations support staff. Foster a collaborative and goal-oriented work environment.

Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that construction projects and facility operations meet established standards and specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Extensive experience in the tensile membrane industry

Extensive experience in construction project management and operations support, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Strong knowledge of construction and steel/fabric fabrication processes.
Company Information and Disclaimer
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment setting or may be exposed to noise if working in or around a production area. Schedule is Monday through Friday, normal business hours. Constantly required to sit, use hands, talk, and hear. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Position Location:
Position is onsite Monday through Friday (8AM-5PM) and not remote eligible. Only under special circumstance(s) will the person be allowed to work remotely and with express written consent of senior leadership.
Compensation:
Compensation for this position will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications, aligning with industry standards. The salary range for Dallas, TX, is also based upon geographical market standards for the industry and position in those areas.
There is a possibility of a bonus(es) based on individual performance and merit to be paid at the sole discretion of the company, but bonus(es) are not guaranteed unless outlined in writing in the offer letter extended to the candidate selected for the position.
