Position Overview:
Documenting solution designs and technical requirements for the implementation and support of ERP Systems and Custom applications. Ability to quickly understand client business expectations, transform the required features into technical specifications, and track system deliverables to ensure the quality level is attained. This position requires a results-driven team player attitude with strong business acumen and interpersonal skills, robust data analysis and logical abilities, time management skills, experience with formal requirements traceability, and knowledge of IT SDLC methods and ITIL best practices.
Agile development practices and experience in a Scrum/Agile framework desirable.

Job Requirements
:
  • Serve as techno-functional IT team member, responsible for defining, and documenting technical and business requirements, design, and development for ERP Systems that include INFOR SyteLine v8, CSI 10 and NetSuite.
  • Strong Analysis skills and responsibility for ensuring specifications are complete, comprehensive, technically feasible, in alignment with system capabilities, conform with IT and regulatory standards, and follow consistent documentation practices.
  • Good domain knowledge and experience with Financials, Supply Chain, Order Management and Manufacturing.
  • Ability to provide Super User and End User training.
  • Mentor and train junior team members.
  • Assists in the preparation and execution of use-case tests, formal testing scripts and oversees approval for user acceptance plans.
  • Manages and tracks status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; updates and refines, as necessary.
  • Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications of agreed requirements– verbally and in written form to business and IT sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
  • As technical liaison confirms project scoping for IT solutions; communicates effectively to identify options, explain issues, recommend solutions, manage risks, and reduce escalations during project design and delivery.
  • Provides incident resolution oversight, including first time-right, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Work performed in the office in a light industrial setting; exposure to manufacturing environments and working on the shop floor with users.
  • May require about 10% travel to other PlayPower office and plant locations as required.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Technical Skills
:
Minimum of 5 years of experience with ERP Systems. Experience with INFOR SyteLine 8, 9, CSI10 and NetSuite preferred. The ideal candidate would have worked with multiple ERPs including the above and have prior experience with full ERP life-cycle implementations. Expertise in a manufacturing environment and strong knowledge of the modules for Financial Management, Supply Chain Management and Purchasing, Sales Management, Estimating Customer Orders, Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Management, Planning and Scheduling processes to serve as internal ERP consultant and Subject Matter Expert.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in business analysis, programming, development, or support role with SQL Server environments.
  • Deep expertise with T-SQL, stored procedures, SQL Queries, SSRS is needed and experience with XML, HTML, VB .NET and C# .NET programming would be a plus.
  • Strong understanding of underlying ERP schema, tables and database level entity-relationship models with ability to create, understand, and run SQL ad-hoc query scripts and reports.
  • Experience managing formal requirements matrix and documenting comprehensive technical specifications.
  • Expertise in testing validation methods with use-case development and defect tracking (JIRA and Agile experience preferred).
  • Prior experience working with standard IT SDLC processes, ITIL best practices, Agile development/delivery and working with geographically distributed teams.
  • Consultative and analytical skills with effective solution design, technical planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluent with technical processes and nomenclature, and disciplined approach to reporting/tracking key metrics.
  • Experienced with code reuse and source code version control techniques.
Company Information and Disclaimer

Working Conditions:
Normal office environment setting or may be exposed to noise if working in or around a production area. Schedule is Monday through Friday, normal business hours. Constantly required to sit, use hands, talk, and hear. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Position Location:
Position is onsite Monday through Friday (8AM-5PM) and not remote eligible. Only under special circumstance(s) will the person be allowed to work remotely and with express written consent of senior leadership.

Compensation:
Compensation for this position will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications, aligning with industry standards. The salary range for Dallas, TX, is also based upon geographical market standards for the industry and position in those areas.

There is a possibility of a bonus(es) based on individual performance and merit to be paid at the sole discretion of the company, but bonus(es) are not guaranteed unless outlined in writing in the offer letter extended to the candidate selected for the position.
