Rotomold Machine Operators
3rd Shift: 10:45pm-7:15am
Department: Rotomold
Reporting to: Supervisor
Non Exempt/Hourly
SUMMARY:
Working as a member of a team, assist in the attainment of all rotational plastic molding production requirements by learning and following all process steps and requirements necessary to produce parts. Position requires constant work at a height of up to 10 feet above ground on a large platform with closed railing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Operate and maintain rotational molds and equipment.
2. Accurately measure and pour plastic powder
3. Operate crane, forklifts and hand tools.
4. Demonstrate the basic use of manufacturing tools
5. Inspection of parts to meet quality standards and follow all ISO processes and procedures.
6. Assist in meeting the production requirements for the Department
7. Assist in the reduction of scrap.
8. Understand and complete paperwork accurately and efficiently.
9. Effective communication skills with all Departments
10. Follow daily production reporting procedures.
11. Must keep area neat and clean
12. Adhere and comply to all company safety requirements

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.

One to three years in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Demonstrated stable work history of 6+ months required.
REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or verbal form

Ability to read and interpret basic documents, safety rules and other correspondence.

Ability to count and measure
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using basic math skills.

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT:
Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the attendance policy stated in the company’s employee handbook. Must be available and willing to work overtime hours as the employer determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs. Must be available and willing to work such weekends and/or holidays as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
