Powder Coat Operator
We are looking to fill Full-time Operator positions in our Powder Coat Department at Playworld in Lewisburg, PA.
Work 35 hours and get paid for 40 hours!
Pay starts at $19.00/hr (Evening Shift has an additional $1.00/hr shift differential)
We have 2 Afternoon and 1 Evening Shift available
Afternoon Short Days:
11:15am - 5:30pm
Long Day:
7:00am - 5:30pm
Evening Short Days:
5:30PM - 11:45PM
Long Day:
1:15PM - 11:45 PM
Responsibilities include:
- Pulling parts by determining parts to be gathered by reading relevant product reports.
- Verifying and staging and reporting missing parts.
- Preparing parts for painting
- Hanging parts for paint line
- Packaging parts of shipment
- Inspecting parts
- Powdercoating parts
- Labeling correctly
Qualified applicants will have:
- Must be a high school graduate or have equivalent training.
- Must be able to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Must have knowledge of safety regulations.
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 51 lbs. on average during a
- normal workday.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Must be able to read and write.
- Must be able to operate computers.
- Must be able to distinguish colors.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to read and interpret basic documents, safety rules and other correspondence.
Work Environment Include:
- Steel toed shoes are required at all times.
- Must wear required PPE while on the production floor.
- Must adjust PPE to be meet requirements, as some specific areas may require additional specific items to be worn for PPE, such as bump caps, hard hats, shin guards, gloves, etc.
- Normal manufacturing environment exposed to noise and heat if working in production area.
- Overtime as required.
