Rotomold Senior Operator
2nd Shift

Department: Rotomold
Reports to: Manufacturing Supervisor
Approved By: Human Resources
FLSA Status: Hourly

SUMMARY:
Working as a lead member of a team, assist in the attainment of all ROTO MOLD production requirements by learning and following all process steps and requirements necessary to produce parts, as well as mentor other employees on the processes and practices. Position requires constant overhead work at a height of approximately 15 feet.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Demonstrate continued understanding of all machine operations
2. Demonstrate the basic use of manufacturing tools.
3. Inspection of parts to meet quality standards and follow all ISO processes and procedures.
4. Assist in meeting the production requirements.
5. Assist in the reduction of scrap.
6. Understand and complete paperwork accurately and efficiently.
7. Effective communication skills.
8. Follow daily production reporting procedures.
9. Must keep area neat and clean
10. Adhere and Comply to all company safety requirements.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
  • Prefer one to three years of related manufacturing experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
  • Must be able to read, speak and write English

REASONING ABILITY:
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or verbal form
  • Ability to read and interpret basic documents, safety rules and other correspondence.
  • Ability to count and measure equipment

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using basic math skills.
  • Ability to distinguish colors

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT:
Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the attendance policy stated in the company’s employee handbook. Must be available and willing to work overtime hours as the employer determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs. Must be available and willing to work such weekends and/or holidays as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
