Position Overview
The Order Fulfillment operator is responsible for identifying orders that need to ship through computer systems and identifying products in the warehouse to fill those orders, then labeling and preparing product for shipping. These will include printing labels, packaging products in cardboard containers, and relabeling products with supplier part numbers. Responsibilities start with identifying orders to be shipped and end with shipment of products.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safe operation of equipment and perform daily inspections of equipment.
  • Set up and perform operations on a saw, drill press, and router.
  • Operate machines to ensure the highest quality of production is achieved.
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Report immediately to supervisor/lead/manager all problems, which may affect safety, equipment, tooling, and/or quality.
  • Maintain full working knowledge of all processes.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment and perform 5S standards per the cell guidelines.
  • Conduct himself/herself in a professional manner in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Light assembly using hand tools (Allen wrenches, sockets, cordless drills, etc.) will be required.

Education and/or Experience:
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, engineering drawings & technical work instructions.
  • System Knowledge: Ability to use/learn Microsoft Office Excel, ShopTrak, Syteline, drawing repository/vault, Sharepoint.
  • Ability to locate, interpret and modify BOMs and Routes.
  • Basic Quality knowledge.
  • Experienced in inventory management.
  • One year of applicable experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
  • Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification.
  • Bi-lingual preferred .
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Tenacity in overcoming obstacles while maintaining productive and positive working relationships.
  • Ability to execute in a rapidly changing fast paced environment that requires strong teamwork.
  • Understanding of all tools, gages, equipment, and other various instruments used to perform position (tape measure, angle finder, square, hand tools, etc.)
  • Basic ability to understand blueprints, schematics, and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Skill in performing accurate arithmetic functions involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; using decimals, percentages, fractions, and ratios.
  • 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift certification.

Position Requirements:
  • Accurately and efficiently complete orders to established procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all required documentation and check parts frequently per quality specifications.
  • Meet daily production and quality goals.
  • Achieve and strive to exceed expected run rates.
  • Assist other operators as needed or directed.
  • Ability to work overtime with little to no notice.
  • Ability to travel if needed.

Company Information and Disclaimer

Working Conditions:
Normal office environment setting or may be exposed to noise if working in or around a production area. Schedule is Monday through Friday, normal business hours. Constantly required to sit, use hands, talk, and hear. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Position Location:
Position is onsite Monday through Friday (8AM-5PM) and not remote eligible. Only under special circumstance(s) will the person be allowed to work remotely and with express written consent of senior leadership.

Compensation:
Compensation for this position will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications, aligning with industry standards. The salary range for Dallas, TX, is also based upon geographical market standards for the industry and position in those areas.

There is a possibility of a bonus(es) based on individual performance and merit to be paid at the sole discretion of the company, but bonus(es) are not guaranteed unless outlined in writing in the offer letter extended to the candidate selected for the position.
