Preply Business partners with hundreds of clients globally to bring personalized language training to the workforce. Companies like Zendesk, Eventbrite, and ByteDance trust Preply to help their employees speak more confidently at work. Over the past year, our team has grown by over 300%, and as we set our sights on scaling even higher, we are seeking an ambitious and driven Account Executive to join our team.

As an Account Executive for the French market you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Enterprise Sales at Preply. You will be responsible for prospecting, driving the sales process through effectively navigating large organizations, and ultimately serving as the face of Preply to all enterprise prospective clients. You will work closely with sales leaders at Preply as well as our sales development and account management teams to achieve your goals. We’re looking for candidates who are consultative sellers, self-starters, and excited about the opportunity to learn and grow in a start-up environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Generate new business opportunities through cold outreach
  • Manage a sales pipeline of inbound and outbound leads from prospecting through close, and effectively collaborate with other teams (SDRs, AMs, Product, Marketing, etc.) in the process
  • Develop an understanding of each prospect's business needs and communicate a customized solution effectively
  • Build strong relationships with key client decision-makers / influencers who are responsible for Learning and Development and Human Resources across key accounts
  • Negotiate and close deals.

What you need to succeed:

  • Full professional fluency in both French and English languages.
  • Previous experience in prospecting, a proven ability to generate pipeline.
  • 3-5 yrs of hands-on experience in Account Executive role or similar sales roles.
  • Solid understanding of the dynamics of B2B, preferably within SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting customized product demos.
  • Short to medium sales cycle experience (3-6 months).
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to effectively articulate our value proposition as part of an overall business solution.
  • Proficiency with Sales CRM solutions (such as Salesforce, Outreach, Lusha and LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Can-do attitude, ambitious and passionate.
