As a VP of Sales, you will spearhead the global expansion of Preply Business. This role is pivotal, as you will collaborate with executive leaders to shape the future of our business and drive strategic initiatives. You will lead a stellar team of Sales Directors, Key Account Executives, and SDRs, guiding them from the vision-setting stage to the implementation of a highly effective operational model. Your leadership will be instrumental in defining goals, optimizing processes, and achieving exceptional results, making a lasting impact on Preply and our customers. What you’ll be doing:

  • Partner with the executive team to shape & drive the current strategic plan, and develop future plans to achieve ambitious company goals.
  • Drive the sales organization by defining business priorities, setting bullish goals, and designing a rigorous operational model to increase team impact.
  • Play a key role in setting and executing our global sales strategy.
  • Elevate the craft of the Sales team by developing and scaling frameworks to manage sales pipelines and deals.
  • Support the team in identifying best practices to scale results, working closely with direct reports and peers to remove blockers and address process inefficiencies.
  • Hire, onboard, engage, and develop top talent, fostering a strong collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Lead by example, providing hands-on mentorship and driving solutions.
  • Foster a ‘challenge, disagree and commit’ environment where consensus may not always rule, but where individuals know they are heard
  • Serve as an inspirational leader, contributing to the evolving company culture and setting high standards for product and organizational excellence.

What you need to succeed:

  • A founder mentality; you’re a builder excited to solve complex problems, not just execute
  • Extensive experience building and leading high-performing teams as a VP of Sales or in a similar role within the tech industry, across multiple locations, while maintaining high levels of engagement and quality of talent.
  • Demonstrated success in owning and driving a high-achieving sales organization within a fast-growing business.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue and business growth, evidenced by increased direct reports, larger deal sizes, and successful market or product launches.
  • Collaborative leadership style with exceptional and engaging communication skills, fluent in English.
  • Proactive and innovative mindset, consistently seeking and implementing improvements in sales processes and strategies to drive business growth.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and project management expertise.
  • Preferable experience with B2B/SaaS tech products, particularly working with mid-market clients across multiple locations.
