About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Brand Designer to join our Brand Design team - a creative thinker with a passion for storytelling, visual excellence, and meaningful impact.

You’ll concept, design, and evolve visual campaigns across Preply’s brand and growth channels - from ASO and paid banners to organic social and blog content - shaping how learners experience Preply online.

This role is perfect for someone who combines a sharp creative eye with strategic thinking, thrives in an iterative environment, and loves pushing boundaries to keep the brand fresh, consistent, and inspiring.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Create & Iterate: Design and optimize a high output of ad creatives that fuel performance - from banner explorations to app store graphics and content visuals.

  • Design for Performance: Translate data insights into creative optimizations that boost ad engagement and conversion - influencing and evolving the overall visual brand.

  • Own Projects End-to-End: Manage projects from concept to delivery - ensuring clarity, timeliness, and alignment with brand and performance goals. Lead localization and adaptation efforts to maintain creative quality across markets.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with growth marketers, copywriters, motion designers, and other brand creatives to deliver cohesive, multi-channel campaigns.

  • Drive Excellence: Push creative boundaries while maintaining a sharp focus on typography, layout, and storytelling that aligns with Preply’s design system.

  • Innovate & Experiment: Explore new formats, tools, and AI-driven workflows to shape the future of Preply’s visual identity and creative production.

What you need to succeed:

  • Background: Bringing 7+ years of experience leading brand and performance design in fast-moving, high-growth B2C environments - blending bold creative thinking with measurable business results.

  • Brand Design: Experience working with established brands or within a brand system: you know how to balance experimentation with consistency and love to move brands forward.

  • Typography & Layout: Expert understanding of type, hierarchy, and composition – combine creativity and precision in equal measure.

  • Innovation: Interest in AI-assisted design workflows (e.g., Visual Electric, Midjourney, ChatGPT) and the evolving future of creative tools.

  • Mindset: Curious, proactive, self-driven, and collaborative. You own your work, seek feedback, adapt quickly, and love to learn what works and why.

  • Tools: Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
