About the Role

We’re looking for a Creative Brand Director to lead our in-house creative studio — a team that operates where brand, growth, and performance meet. This is not your typical “brand design” role: our focus is on scalable, performance-oriented creative that delivers measurable results.

You’ll drive the development of high-performing brand assets, 360° performance campaigns, and cross-channel experiences that not only look great but move the needle. You’ll help define what modern, data-informed creativity looks like — balancing storytelling and optimization, emotion and ROI.

Our studio’s work is deeply integrated with the Growth team, while also supporting internal communications, B2B initiatives, supply-side marketing, and brand-in-product experiences that create delightful, high-impact moments for users.

This is a role for a strategic creative leader who’s equally comfortable discussing click-through rates as creative concepts, someone who pushes boundaries, scales ideas efficiently, and embraces new technologies to accelerate output. The person will be helping us define what “brand” means in a performance-driven world.

What You’ll Do

Lead Performance-Driven Brand Strategy

  • Define and execute the creative vision for performance marketing across all stages of the funnel, from prospecting and retargeting to CRM and lifecycle campaigns.

  • Partner with growth and analytics teams to connect creative decisions to data outcomes by turning insights into smarter storytelling.

  • Balance brand integrity with measurable performance, ensuring every campaign contributes to both growth and perception.

Oversee Full-Funnel Creative Production

  • Manage and inspire teams across design, copy, motion, and video, ensuring seamless execution from concept to delivery.

  • Supervise creative production for banners, video ads, UGC content, email, landing pages, and in-product branding moments.

  • Collaborate with product and lifecycle marketing teams to ensure consistent, delightful brand experiences throughout the user journey.

Champion AI-Driven Creativity and Innovation

  • Lead the early adoption of AI tools across copywriting, design, and video creation — driving experimentation, efficiency, and innovation.

  • Evaluate and implement tools that enhance personalization, iteration speed, and creative testing at scale.

  • Foster a culture of curiosity where AI is used to enhance human creativity, not replace it.

  • Build frameworks for AI-augmented creative processes, setting best practices and ethical standards for usage.

Build Operational Excellence

  • Oversee daily creative operations and ensure alignment between teams and stakeholders.

  • Establish scalable creative systems and processes to deliver at the pace of growth without compromising quality.

  • Balance hands-on creative direction with operational leadership — keeping teams focused, inspired, and accountable.

Set the Bar for Performance Copy

  • Own the tone and message across a wide range of assets — from ads, CRM, and UX microcopy to customer care communications.

  • Drive clarity, conversion, and consistency across all written content.

  • Collaborate with localization and regional teams to ensure global adaptability without losing creative impact.

  • Skilled in managing both the creative vision and the day-to-day mechanics that bring it to life.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of creative leadership experience, including work in tech or digital-first companies.

  • Proven track record overseeing growth-focused creative: banners, UGC, prospecting/retargeting, and CRM.

  • Deep understanding of performance metrics, testing frameworks, and creative optimization cycles.

  • Strong experience managing both copywriting and design across a wide variety of customer touchpoints.

  • Demonstrated experience or interest in implementing AI tools for creative workflows (copy, design, and video).

  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills with an ability to balance creative ambition and commercial discipline.
