The Corporate Strategy/CEO Office team sits at the heart of Preply, driving clarity, focus, and disciplined execution across the company. This role is reporting directly to our Senior Strategy & Revenue Manager.
We work directly with the CEO and executive team to define priorities, run our operating rhythm, and translate strategic goals into measurable outcomes. From OKRs to board materials, we ensure alignment, insight, and accountability - helping the organization make faster, smarter decisions.
As Preply scales globally and prepares for its next growth chapter, we’re looking for a analytical Strategy Associate to elevate how the executive team operates - turning strategy into disciplined execution.
What you'll be doing:
1. Transformation Initiatives
Drive and support high-impact transformation projects across the business - from evolving our value proposition with new AI tools and services, to refining our business model and improving how we hire at scale, and more
Build and analyze financial and business models to assess new opportunities, including emerging market segments, product offerings, pricing strategies, and potential M&A or partnership initiatives
Conduct regular data-driven analysis and research to identify improvement areas and recommend new growth initiatives
Track and measure the impact of strategic projects by defining KPIs, monitoring performance, and ensuring follow-through on recommendations
2. Cross-functional Strategic Projects
Collaborate cross-functionally to gather inputs, test assumptions, and support implementation of new initiatives; gaining exposure to multiple teams and workstreams.
Create structured presentations, dashboards, and reports to summarize insights, communicate findings, and support decision-making across Product, Customer Experience, Finance, Marketing, and Leadership
Facilitate alignment between teams by coordinating workstreams, managing timelines, and ensuring stakeholders are informed and moving toward shared goals
What you need to succeed
5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or planning, ideally in a high-growth tech environment.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with hands-on experience building models in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL or BI tools (e.g., Looker, PowerBI) is a plus.
Proactive and resourceful mindset; eagerness to learn, take ownership, and work through ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
Strong problem-solving abilities, with experience identifying root causes, evaluating options, and driving structured, practical solutions.
Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex information, create clear narratives, and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Comfort navigating ambiguity and balancing strategic and operational depth.
Based in Barcelona or London, with a preference for Barcelona.
