Meet the team!
Supply Operations is the team behind Preply's tutor ecosystem - from how tutors grow and perform, to how they engage with learners and the platform. We work across Growth, Performance, Engagement, B2B, and Expansion to deliver a great tutor experience at scale.
As Preply grows, so do the cross-functional challenges that shape how our marketplace works for tutors - from launching new compliance requirements across markets, to evolving how we manage quality and fairness at scale. These initiatives span multiple Supply teams, CX, Legal, Tax, Product, and Data, and they need someone who can bring clarity, structure, and momentum.
As the Supply Strategic Projects Lead, you'll own and drive high-priority strategic initiatives across the Supply org - turning ambiguous, cross-functional problems into clear plans and measurable results. You'll work closely with the Supply team and across the company, operating with a high degree of autonomy on evolving priorities. This is a role for someone who thrives in complexity, moves fast with good judgment, and can influence senior stakeholders to get things done.
What you'll be doing:
Lead high-priority, cross-functional Supply initiatives spanning monetisation, performance, compliance, and other strategic priorities that cut across teams
Take ambiguous problems and turn them into clear workstreams, owners, timelines, risks, and decisions
Drive end-to-end execution of strategic projects across teams such as Product, Legal, Tax, CX, Data, Supply and others
Jump into fast-moving priorities across the Supply org, bring structure, and accelerate progress where it matters most
Improve how Supply handles complex recurring topics by building stronger processes, playbooks, and operating models
Use data and business judgment to assess impact, shape recommendations, and support decision-making
Help strengthen how the Supply team operates - contributing to sharper coordination, AI adoption, and better operating rhythms across the organisation
What you need to succeed:
6–8+ years of experience in strategy & operations, consulting, business/marketplace operations, or similar roles in high-growth tech environments
Strong program and project leadership: drives ambiguous, cross-functional work from problem definition through rollout and iteration
Stakeholder management and influence: can challenge constructively and navigate trade-offs with senior leaders across Product, Legal, CX, and other functions
Structured problem solving: turns ambiguity into clear plans, priorities, and decisions
Data-driven approach: comfortable framing analysis, working closely with Data, interpreting performance, and building business cases (advanced Excel/Sheets required)
Ownership mindset: acts autonomously, anticipates issues, drives closure - does not wait for perfect clarity
Operational excellence: designs rollout plans, processes, and guardrails that work at scale - thinks beyond one-off fixes
Strong communication skills: clear, concise (both written and verbal) communication - with the ability to distill complexity, align stakeholders, and present recommendations with confidence
Nice to have:
SQL and BI fluency (e.g., Looker)
Experience in marketplaces or platform businesses
Background in consulting or strategy & ops with structured problem-solving training
