🤩 Why your role is important

At Qovery, we have a strong inbound pipeline. As a Business Development Representative at Qovery, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers, ensuring they are a strong fit before transitioning them to Account Executives and fueling our growth. Your role is crucial to qualify and convert marketing-generated leads into high-quality sales opportunities.

This role is perfect for someone curious, proactive, and eager to grow in the fast-paced world of SaaS sales.

🚀 What will your job look like

  • Lead Qualification & Pipeline Management:
    • Own the MQL to SQL transition, ensuring high-quality pipeline generation.
    • Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospects' needs and determine if they’re a fit for Qovery
    • Maintain an organized steady flow of high-quality leads, prioritizing high-potential opportunities.
    • Ensure at least 30% SQL to Opportunity conversion rate.
  • Sales Development & closing
    • Develop sales and negotiation skills through structured learning.
    • Own the process—by year one, confidently close transactional deals.
    • Partner with Account Executives on high-value opportunities while driving smaller deals independently
  • Business Development
    • Work closely with marketing and sales to sharpen lead generation and conversion strategies
    • Dedicate 10-15% of your time to proactive outreach—networking, referrals, and targeted campaigns
    • Continuously test and refine messaging to maximize engagement and impact

💡 About you

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing or outbound sales role (BDR, SDR, consulting, or similar)
  • An exceptional communicator who can engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders with ease
  • Organized and data-driven, with a structured approach to managing pipeline and outreach
  • Fast learner with an adaptable mindset, eager to grow into a closing role
  • Self-motivated and proactive, thriving in both independent and team-driven environments.
